The new CCM YFlex youth goal pads are perfect for any little one looking to branch out into the world of goaltending. Offering a lightweight design, pre-curved shape, easy strapping and multiple foams, this pad has much to offer for any young goalie.

External Material
CCM uses SpeedSkin material on their YFlex 2 series to assist new goalies when sliding and to help conserve energy in the butterfly. This also adds a layer of durability to the pad.

Internal Construction
Using a mix of High density and Low density foams, the YFlex goalie pads offer great rebound control as well as protection from any shots coming their way. The HD foams keep the pads shape while the LD foams soften the rebounds in order to make it easier to control.

Pad Break
This CCM youth pad is a single outer break design, offering some flex without softening up too much on the goalie. The internal double break allows the pad to keep it’s form while offering some extra mobility in the crease.

Boot Channel
The boot channel is shallow and soft, enabling easy skating and ankle movement for those adjusting to goalie stance and skating in order to support the transition.

Knee Cradle
The YFlex youth pads include an adjustable knee cradle, allowing for a better fit as well as the ability to grow without having to replace the pads but rather moving the knee cradle up. This gives you the most utility and value out of the pad for growing kids.

Knee & Thigh Protection
The CCM YFlex youth pads offer some thigh protection with a removable thigh board but we’d recommend branching out into knee pads for adequate protection

Strapping
The strapping is so easy a 5-year-old could do it! Which is perfect since this pad is for little ones. With only a toe tie that uses velcro and a removable bootstrap, then 2 more velcro straps, this youth pad makes it easy to find your perfect fit.

Sizes & Colors
The CCM YFlex youth goalie leg pad is available in 3 different colourways, White/Black, White/Blue, and White/Red. There are also 3 sizes, 22+1, 24+1 and lastly 26+1.
