The Vaughn Velocity V9 Intermediate Goalie Knee Pads use a pro style three piece hinged design allowing for great flexibility. A large double shield knee design is laced on allowing for superior adjustment built from moulded HD plastic pads wrapped in a durable Clarino and QuickSlide exterior. The moulded plastic knee and thigh pads give the knee pad good impact dispersal. The liner of the V9 Pro is made of a soft suede Clarino that lets the knee pads grip onto any base layer pant they’re combined with preventing them from slipping. The strapping used is a three strap design made of a durable double elastic letting the knee pads sit tight to the legs while urethane grip strips work to prevent slippage. A garter belt is included on the V9 Pro knee pads that uses a comfortable adjustable elastic belt and leg straps helping to hold the knee pads in the right spot throughout the ice time.
External Material
The V9 Pro knee pads use a Clarino synthetic leather on the knees and a QuickSlide accent in the center for extended durability and slip allowing for better rotation.
Knee Cap
The knee protection is made of a durable high density moulded polyethylene allowing for superior shock dispersion.
Liner
The interior of the knee pad uses a Suede Clarino in the knee area for grip and durability preventing slippage and premature wear.
Strapping
The strapping on the V9 Pro knee pads utilize a three strap design made of a double elastic providing improved resistance to stretching. Urethane grip strips on the straps act to further prevent slippage during game play.
Pant Attachment
While the V9 Pro knee pads don’t offer direct pant attachment, they include a garter belt that they attach to with an adjustable waist and leg straps that allow the knee pad to be held higher or lower depending on the goalie’s height.
